RAHWAY, NJ (February 20, 2023) – Blue digital firm Activate Media announced it has been named a finalist for four categories in the 2023 Stanley F. Reed Awards, an annual prize awarded by Campaigns and Elections Magazine that recognizes outstanding work in political campaigning and public affairs.

The finalist nominations are:

Maria Vullo for New York Attorney General, “Fearless”

Best Online Video for Mayoral Campaign
Sharon for Bayonne, “Running”

Best Online Video That Never Saw the Light of Day

“Since we started in 2017, we’ve proven that we can take a value-up-front philosophy and apply it at the federal, statewide, and local levels,” commented Dave Pilmenstein, Activate Media President. “Put simply, we trade in the bells and whistles for good messaging steeped in empathy and realness. People respond to that, and I’m really grateful to be able to cut through noise every day.”

Pilmenstein added, “Here’s hoping that this will be another landmark year of growth!”

Activate was the winner of a 2021 Reed Award for its work re-electing Councilman John Francis Roman in Linden. This year brings Activate’s total Finalist designations up to seven. In 2021, InsiderNJ named Dave Pilmenstein to its 2021 Insider 100 Millennials list for “innovative digital communication.”
